Dermaplaning is an exfoliating treatment by an aesthetician, using a sterile surgical scalpel. We will gently remove 2-3 layers of dead, dull, and/or dry, flaking skin, as well as any fine, vellus hair (peach fuzz), that can trap dirt and oil on the skin, causing acne breakouts, among other things. This instantly reveals softer, glowing skin, allowing makeup to glide on much easier, and skincare products to penetrate deeper (meaning faster results). Other benefits include reduced appearance of acne scarring, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles.
